Our mission is to provide you with exceptional quality, exceptional service and a creative culinary experience. We are available to assist in planning your special event Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Meeting Room and Equipment

Please reserve all non-food related equipment as per University policy, I.e., schooldude. This will include room reservation, set-up and room configuration (tables/chairs), audio visual and other general information. Policies & Procedures To ensure optimal selection and the best possible service we kindly ask that events be booked at least five (5) business days in advance. We understand events arise unexpectedly and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.



Billing & Payment

Payment for University sponsored catered events are due within 30 days of billing date. All pricing advertised is for University sponsored events only. Outside organization functions are required reach out directly for quotes. Payment for non-University sponsored functions is due immediately upon receipt of invoice. Valid payment methods are Money Orders, Certified or Cashier Checks, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. State and local sales tax will be added to invoices of individuals or groups not exempt from such tax. If paying by Check, no personal checks will be accepted. For all check and credit card payments, 50% deposit is due at the time of booking and the full balanced is due the day of your event.



Cancellation

Events or menu items canceled or changed after receipt of a signed confirmation will be subject to the following charges:

  • Cancellations or changes more than three business days' will not incur any charge. Please note that changes will be made based on product availability.
  • Cancellation or change within three business days of event will incur a charge of 33% of total cost on canceled or changed item.
  • Cancellation or change within two business days of event will incur a charge of 50% of total cost on canceled or changed item.
  • Cancellation or change after noon the day prior to the event will incur a charge of 100% of total cost on canceled or changed item. Events canceled due to extreme inclement weather resulting in an official University closing will not incur any fees. For events canceled due to inclement weather without an official University closing, the customer will be responsible for any special ordered items & costs that cannot be absorbed into normal production.

    Alcohol Procedure and Policy

    All alcoholic beverages are to be sourced by Felician University and remain with the University after the event. Beverages not consumed will remain the property of Felician University and cannot be stored by Chartwells, in accordance with the laws of The State of New Jersey. It is the policy of Felician University that no alcoholic beverages are brought on the premises without an appropriate Special Events Permit issued through the State of New Jersey as this action violates the liquor license laws. In addition, Felician University requires that a "Request for Alcohol Service on Licensed Premises" form be completed for all events serving alcohol no later than one weeks prior to your event.



    Special Diets

    Special diets are accommodated upon request, we kindly request that your needs be submitted as soon as possible.



    Guest Counts

    We kindly request a confirmed number of guests be specified 3 business days prior to the event. This number is considered the guaranteed guest count.



    Linen

    All linens for food service tables are included. Guest seating tables are additional for events. Registration tables, or any other additional linen needs will be an additional charge. White is our standard linen color, for any other options please call 201-559-3555 or list in the request section.



    Missing and Damaged

    • Any service equipment used for catered events is the property of Chartwells.
    • When no catering staff is requested, you will be responsible for all damaged or missing equipment.
    • The catering staff is not responsible for picking up items from any location other than from the location at which it was set up.
    • If equipment is damaged or missing at the conclusion of your event and is not returned promptly upon notification, replacement costs will be added to the client's bill.



    Leftovers

    Due to health regulations, and for the safety of our guests, food not consumed may not be taken from catered events.



    STUDENT GUIDE POLICIES

  • To receive the prices and promotions in this brochure, you must be a registered and recognized student organization.
  • Napkins and disposable cutlery will be provided as needed depending on menu choice.
  • Menus are priced for pick up at (Building Name).
  • Menus are available to be dropped off at your location for an additional $50.00 fee.
  • Full on-site catering is available with staff attendants for $15.00 per staff member per hour.
  • Appropriate staffing will be determined by (Campus Catering).
  • For groups larger than100 please contact our catering department.
  • All items are packaged in disposable containers.
  • Please let us know if any of your guests have food allergies; we are happy to make a separate dish to accommodate.
